Work At Home Aussies has had several faces since it was established in April of 2007. One thing that I have learnt is that the net is full of hype and empty promises. Not being the sort of person who like empty hype, I have decided to take an entirely different tack to simply provide good information that I have learned from trial and error.

I am an internet veteran of more than ten years and a research-a-holic. Many thousands of hours experience, both good and bad, and many thousands of dollars, some wasted, some well spent, have gone into this website, and hopefully the outcome will be that you will learn some valuable lessons without the cost.

Some will disagree with my approach, others I am sure, will like it. My aim is simply to relay to you the things that I have learned and if I can help even one person to avoid some of the pitfalls that I have encountered, then I have achieved my goal. Some will like the ideas and tools that I like others will not. That is everyone’s prerogative.

I began trying to make money on the  internet many, many years ago with AllAdvantage, which some of you may remember. It was one of the first paid-to-surf programs and many people made money from it, myself included, even though it was only pocket-change it was something. I have joined or looked at hundreds of other ideas over the years, including HYIP’s, random rotators, auto-downline programs, surveys and mystery shopping among other things.  Some worked, some didn’t and different types of online business opportunities suit different kinds of people.

The most important thing with earning money online is to take action and never give up. There are thousands of opportunities out there just waiting for your idea to set them alight. The internet is a multi-billion dollar industry and there is plenty to go round. It’s up to you to find your niche.
